We are delighted to announce that our sMart Lock™ innovation is the winner of the Good Design Award for Design Excellence.
Here is what the jury had to say:
” An innovative approach to tracking and finding supermarket trolleys. Leveraging our comfort with using QR codes is clever, as is the capability for stores to locate their trolleys. Movement to cashless economies is also a factor that the design addresses, as is the cost (environmental and economic) of lost trolleys. The app provides behaviour design elements to incentivise trolley returns. It’s an interesting solution to the ever-present trolley everywhere! Overall, this is a really impressive example of design that solves a real problem and a standout project that ticks every box for good design in this category. Well done.”
