Our Trolley Data Management Network™ (TDMN) provides reporting metrics and analytics including trolley location data and user shopping information.
Simply scan the QR code or tap the NFC window from the service screen of the sMart Shop App™ and report the damage. You will be notified when your report has been received. A technician will attend to the unit in 48 hours. Put the trolley in a safe area inaccessible to customers or team members.
If the system detects any electrical fault or damage, it will automatically unlock as it would at power fail or with a flat/expired battery. In this mode the trolley cannot dock with another sMart Lock System™ but can still be used as normal. An alert will be sent. All urgent alerts are attended to within 24 hours.

Yes. The customer can raise a dispute directly from their sMart Shop App™. All disputes will be resolved within 30 days.
They access their account via the sMart Shop App™ and raise a dispute. We will investigate. In the meantime, they purchase another sMart Coin™. If after investigating there has been an error, the user will receive a full refund or credit within 30 days.
They will receive a popup notification on the sMart Shop App™ confirming the trolley is successfully locked and that their sMart Coin™ has been returned to their account.

The sMart Lock system™ will be programmed with specific information about where trolleys can be left. This can be particular trolley bays or within a limited radius around your store. Customers who leave their trolleys outside these areas forfeit their sMart Coin™.
No. A sMart Coin™ is only purchased once, providing users return and lock the trolley with another sMart Lock System™. If the trolley is left unlocked or outside your designated area, users stand to forfeit their sMart Coin™ and will need to purchase another.
The sMart Lock system™, Trolley data Management Network™ and sMart Shop App™ cannot function independently of each other. Our components are designed to operate seamlessly together and easily integrate into your established platforms.

The sMart Lock System™ is coinless and battery operated, but works similarly to a conventional coin operated lock. Users download the sMart Shop App™, create an account and make a one-off purchase of a virtual sMart Coin™. Users scan the QR code or tap the NFC window for the sMart Lock System™ to register the ‘deposit’ of their sMart Coin™. The trolley is then unlocked. When returned and properly docked, the sMart Coin™ is reissued to the user’s account.

Our sMart Coin™ is a virtual coin that consumers purchase using the sMart Shop App™. It is the sMart Coin™ that the sMart Lock System™ registers in order to unlock a trolley.

Our sMart Lock System™ is a trolley locking device that secures trolleys together. It can be unlocked using the sMart Shop App™.
GPS sweeps are conducted throughout a store’s business hours, sending notifications via the sMart Shop App™ alerting eligible team members and trolley contractors to the quantity of undocked trolleys and their real-time map locations.
Each team member, trolley collector or contractor will have access to a ‘service’ mode and ‘collection’ mode in their sMart Shop App™, which they can use to unlock trolleys and scan them off the location service list.
We provide clear, easy to use, actionable data to assist your business in asset management, reducing costs, loss prevention and more. This includes trolley location data and detailed analytics on user behaviour.

Yes. We are able to provide your business with detailed data on how many trolleys are being unlocked a day/week in each store, bi-hourly breakdowns of trolley usage and unlock times by store, customer shopping frequency, customer time in store (from unlock to lock), trolley return rate and so much more.
Our web services infrastructure puts strong safeguards in place to help protect user privacy. All data is stored in highly secure data centres. Our privacy policy is available on our sMart Shop App™ and our website.
Having users create an account on the sMart Shop App™—with a valid email address and phone number—and purchase a sMart Coin™ helps deter any opportunistic thief who plans to walk out with a trolley of unpaid goods. Every movement of any trolley is traceable and logged.

With a dictation function, ability to upload handwritten notes or lists, or import directly from Notes, OneNote, Word or Pages for Mac, our sMart Shop App™ has superior integration ability. Connectivity to Google Home, Apple HomePod and Amazon Alexa is also a first. Activate family sharing so everyone can update the same shopping list. Tick off items as you go and even add use by dates. Yes. Family sharing allows all family members to share an account. Users simply select family sharing when creating an account on the sMart Shop App™, enter appropriate details for each family member and purchase a sMart Coin™ for each of them too. All family members will receive a text message with a link to download a ready to use sMart Shop App™.
Yes. Our pensioner assist program is designed to talk pensioners through creating an account and using the sMart Shop App™ on their smartphone. They simply call the sMart Shop App™ number and a member of our customer care team will be available to assist.
We have a highly secure and easy registration process and a service to assist anyone who needs help downloading the app.
The sMart Lock System™ has been designed to only work with the sMart Shop App™, but the sMart Shop App™ will integrate with your store app and assimilate your branding. Customers will feel like they are using your store app with added functionality.

Yes. The sMart Shop App™ is designed to work on all modern smartphones running current android operating systems and iOS.
We will assess phone coverage, and quantity and locations of trolley bays. We will test for signals, signal strength and response times.
All stores and sites will undergo a preinstallation check. If we discover a lack of phone coverage, we will recommend not to proceed with installation. We will also work with your business and major telecommunication companies towards a solution.
A team member can unlock a trolley from the service screen of the sMart Shop App™. The trolley can still be tracked and located if it is not returned and properly docked.
